Personalized Training for Real Life
Dog training should fit your dog, your goals, and your everyday life— not force every family into the same predetermined program.
Nova Dog Training offers individualized, reward-based support designed to strengthen communication, build practical skills, and help you better understand your dog. Sessions may take place at home, at a mutually agreed-upon public location, or in a real-world environment chosen specifically for your dog’s goals.
Private Training
$60 per one-hour session
One-on-one training gives us the flexibility to focus on the skills that matter most to you and your dog. Sessions are personalized around your goals and may take place at a mutually agreed-upon location where we can practice the skills in a useful, real-world setting.
Training is not only about changing your dog’s behavior. I’ll also help you understand what your dog is communicating, recognize patterns, and confidently continue the work between sessions. The more clearly you and your dog can communicate, the more quickly meaningful progress can begin.
Depending on your dog’s needs and interests, customized training may incorporate neighborhood walks, field trips, hiking, swimming, confidence-building activities, or other real-life experiences. Longer outings or handler-free working sessions may be priced separately based on their length, location, and activity.
In-Home Training
$60 per one-hour session
A $15 travel fee may apply depending on location
Sometimes the best place to work on a challenge is exactly where it happens. In-home sessions allow us to observe your dog’s everyday environment and develop practical strategies that fit your household.
In-home training may be especially helpful for jumping on guests, counter surfing, settling and mat work, household manners, handling exercises, resource guarding, doorway behavior, or recall and reactivity in the yard.

Honesty Helps Me Help Your Dog
Please be as forthcoming as possible about your dog’s behavior and history, including and growling, snapping, biting, resource guarding, handling sensitivities, or aggressive behavior.
Sharing that information will never automatically prevent me from responding to you or working with your dog. I have experience with dogs who have displayed reactivity, aggression, resource guarding, and bite histories—including my own dog. Knowing the complete history allows me to plan more responsibly and create the safest, most appropriate starting point for everyone involved.
If your dog’s needs fall outside my current scope, I will be honest with you and help connect you with someone in my network who is better equipped to provide the level of support your dog needs.
McFly Swim Co.
$60 per one-hour session
McFly Swim Co. is the aquatic side of my work, offering individualized swim sessions centered on confidence, safety, fitness, enrichment, and fun.
With previous experience working alongside canine rehabilitation and physical therapy professionals, I have helped dogs learn safe swimming skills, improve conditioning, build confidence around water, prepare for canine sports, and support veterinarian-directed recovery plans.
Each session is personalized to your dog’s comfort, experience, and goals. Swim time, rest periods, confidence-building exercises, and hands-on instruction will be adjusted to meet your individual dog’s needs.
Nervous beginners, senior dogs, reactive dogs, and dogs who need a little extra patience are welcome.
Swim sessions may support:
Beginner water confidence and swim safety
Fitness and cardiovascular conditioning
Gentle, low-impact exercise
Core strength and body awareness
Senior-dog mobility and enrichment
Conditioning for canine sports
Positive exposure for nervous or hesitant swimmers
Veterinarian-directed rehabilitation plans
Enrichment and safe summertime exercise
Pool safety
Swimming services are not a substitute for veterinary care or treatment. Dogs recovering from surgery, managing an injury, or participating as part of a rehabilitation plan may require veterinary clearance before swimming.
